DURATION – 16 weeks
This program progressively coaches you to improve your running and reach your peak performance effectively and efficiently just on time for the Ottawa Race weekend. All sessions are carefully developed and presented to progress you properly to build up through to the race day.
The program includes
- expert coaching and instruction, including a personalized progression plan focused on improving your speed, fitness and mobility
- 3 weekly group runs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Sundays
- 2 – 20 minute post run in-door mobility sessions after Wednesday and Sunday Runs in the comfort of Victory Performance Centre
- 20-30 minute group information/guidance sessions on a variety of topics such as nutrition, shoe selection, cold weather running before the Wednesday runs
- Freshly made Recovery Shakes after Sunday runs provided by Victory Caffe!*options for all eating choices – Complete post run nutrition made very easy!!!
- Access to locker and shower facilities before and after each run
- Free parking
- Race T-shirt
- Post-Race Party
BONUS Option – Add 1 group Strength session per week to:
- improve integrity of connective tissue to minimize overuse stresses
- correct imbalances & encourage proper mechanics
- improve strength for small bursts of speed on hills or at the end of a race
